I am Yue Jiao, a first year PhD student at Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG), supervised by Prof. Aida Maraj.

My research interests include algebraic statistics, algebraic geometry and mathematical biology.

My current work focuses on developing toric structures of complex biological systems, e.g., chemical reaction networks and Gaussian graphical models.
